Wang An (senior judge of the second rank), Han Chinese, was born in February 1965 in Boxing, Shandong Province. After finishing his doctoral study, he received doctor’s degree in law. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1987 and began his career in the court office since July 1987. He successively served as Clerk of Shanghai Intermediate People’s Court, Assistant Judge, Judge, Director of President Office, Deputy Director of General Office of Shanghai High People’s Court, Judge, Deputy Director of Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 2 and Deputy Director of Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 1 of Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court, Member of Party Leadership Group, Vice President, Member of Judicial Committee and Judge of Shanghai Nanhui District People’s Court, Member of Party Leadership Group, Vice President, Member of Judicial Committee and Judge of Shanghai Jing’an District People’s Court, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Director of Jing’an District Justice Bureau, Member of Judicial Committee, Judge and Director of Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 3 of Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court. Now he is Member of Judicial Committee, Director of Civil Adjudication Tribunal (Adjudication Tribunal for Environment and Resources, Enforcement Adjudication Tribunal) and Judge of Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court.
