Zhang Xin (senior judge of the second rank), Han Chinese, was born in January 1972 in Xianyang, Shannxi Province. After finishing his graduate study, he received a master’s degree in law. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1994 and started to work in July 2001. He served successively as Clerk, Assistant Judge, Deputy Director of General Office and Judge of Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court, Judge, Deputy Director of General Office, Director of Research Office, Director of Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 5 and Member of Judicial Committee of Shanghai High People’s Court. Now he is Member of the Party Leadership Group, Vice President, Member of Judicial Committee and Judge of Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court.
